From the mountains to the desert–the wildflowers are in bloom right now. Recent rains plus the cool weather have aided in the successful and colorful blooms of poppies, canterbury bells, monkey flower, and large phacelia, which apparently do well post-fire and post-drought. Remember to stay on the designated trails, avoid trampling and/or picking the flowers, and promote good trail etiquette.
