The Board of Supervisors will consider selling 1/3 of an acre of bay front parkland to a private homeowner for $13,000. The land was dedicated as a park in 1989. The law to declare a park “abandoned” says that if 200 Orange County voters sign a petition against this, it can’t be abandoned.
