Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) Vice President Gloria Sefton and Consultant Melanie Schlotterbeck wrote a piece about the upcoming decision by the Board of Supervisors to have (or not) a tree preservation policy for specific lands within the county. The precedent-setting policy will protect mature, native trees that improve our quality of life and contribute to the beauty of the environment. Distinctions on property size, location, and exceptions to this policy exist.
