On September 26, 2013 the Safe Trails Coalition, of which Friends of Harbors, Beaches and Parks is a founding member, hosted an informative workshop focused on understanding three perspectives: public safety, user groups, and land managers. The event reached capacity, with 100 participants one week before hand.
