This story is a solid reminder that how we treat the world we live in (i.e. release balloons from our birthday party, leave behind fishing line/hooks, toss our empty water bottles on the trail, etc.) has consequences for others–including our feathered friends. We are grateful for the positive outcome and thank all those involved in rescuing and helping this young pelican.
