Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) consultant Melanie Schlotterbeck announced the launch of the OCTA preserve renaming effort. It is an opportunity to celebrate the natural resources on each site. Check out the video and vote for the name you like for each of the seven preserves at: www.OCTA.net/Preservation. The new names will be revealed at the Saturday, February 24th hike on the O’Neill Oaks Preserve.
