The past few months our lives have been uprooted from what we knew to be the norm because of a virus too small to see. As we all took shelter for the greater good, a connection was realized that united us all–the safety of one another. But, to our dismay we continue to see other issues bubble to the surface in our nation. Some of these issues have deep roots and others more shallow. Our planet aches, our fellow humans mourn, and now another species (the Western Snowy Plover) is one step closer to extinction because of a senseless act that destroyed protected nests and their unhatched eggs.
Ask yourself, what will you do today, tomorrow, and into the future to reduce the ache, the mourning, and the extinction? Now is the time to step up.
