Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) partnered with Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) for its Toolbox Tuesday for a presentation focused on conservation of natural lands in the six-countywide region. Here are a few snapshots from the presentations. Melanie Schlotterbeck (with FHBP) presented on Conservation Strategies (including advanced mitigation programs and policies), Paolo Perrone (The Trust for Public Land) presented on how to partner for land conservation and conservation financing, and Carrie Schloss (The Nature Conservancy) presented on the Conservation Module for preserving natural land through better planning.
