The Thanksgiving Count runs Saturday, November 13th to Sunday, December 5th.
The New Year’s Count runs Saturday, December 25th to Sunday, January 9th.
Counts will be accepted for work conducted anytime during the overwintering season, conducting a count during these two periods helps us compare monarch populations in a standardized way across years.
