Did you know that mistletoe is a parasitic plant? Yep. And, while it is well known as a symbol of love (think kissing under the mistletoe)… if you spot mistletoe in our local parks–please don’t collect it. All of the natural resources–parasitic plants included–are protected. This means it is illegal to collect any of the resources–wildlife, plants, rocks, sticks, etc.
