FHBP is sad to share this news that another member of the conservation community has passed. Celia Kutcher, of the California Native Plant Society, Orange County Chapter died on November 5th. She was a resource for everyone, had an endearing sense of humor, and contributed to many successes in Orange County.
Thanks to OC-CNPS’s announcement we can share are a few of her key achievements:
1. She was a founding member of the Orange County chapter of CNPS.
2. Celia guided the Conservation Program within the chapter.
3. As a CSU Fullerton graduate she played an important role in establishing the Arboretum and was its curator for 20+ years.
