The County made an appearance at the Foothill/Trabuco Specific Plan Review Board meeting on May 8. This was the first of their community outreach meetings on the General Plan update. County should be sure the General Plan:
1. Protects open spaces, plant and wildlife habitat, and recreational areas;
2. Encourages new development to be built near existing infrastructure and transit (not in hazardous fire areas at the wild land interface);
3. Continues to respect the existing specific plans; and
4. Protects scenic corridors
