Tomorrow Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) will testify against this proposed “deal” to undo a protected reserve for an “opulent housing development” where the newly protected land is less desirable, full of non-native plants, and doesn’t serve the species the existing preserve protects: the endangered Quino Checkerspot Butterfly.
