Enjoy some of the “hiker’s only” trails found in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park! Climb the Canyon Trail to enjoy a beautiful vista from the peak. The return trip brings us by Barbara’s Lake, enshrouded with the lush vegetation that a season of good rains can bring. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park’s 7,000 acres are part of the South Coast Wilderness area–part of the over 20,000 acre South Coast Wilderness area. This hike is a good sampler of the 40 miles of trails found within the park. Let’s hope some of the beautiful wildflowers will still be in bloom!
