Discussions move to the Costa Mesa City Council on the allowable uses of Fairview Park–specifically related to model airplanes. The Fairview Park Steering Committee voted 4-1 to recommend implementing restrictions and modifications of site use to reduce impacts on the western side of the park. This would occur at the same time a possible relocation site was examined for future use.
