Wow. The state proposes a HUGE fine ($2.14 billion) for PG&E over the wildfires its electric lines caused in 2017 and 2018 across California. While a fine doesn’t “fix” the damage done, nor the losses to the community of life and property–it does say: maintain your powerlines or face the consequences. Do you think fines are the way to go?
