In 2019, Cal State Long Beach dumped construction soil on a sacred site called Puvungna, which has spiritual significance for Native American tribes. This prompted a lawsuit by several tribes as well as involvement by California Cultural Resources Preservation Alliance (CCRPA), against the University. We are grateful there is resolution to the lawsuit.
