Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) continues to engage on the Upper Newport Bay park sale. We recently submitted a letter to the County on its lackluster response to the Grand Jury report on the sale. Our consultant Melanie Schlotterbeck is quoted in this Voice of OC article from our letter: “Instead of taking to heart the recommendations […] the County is disregarding many of the findings and pointing blame elsewhere.”
