Last year, the Banning Ranch Conservancy won its case against the developer and City of Newport Beach in its litigation before the California Supreme Court. The developer will now need to pay for the attorneys’ fees since the group acted on behalf of the public on the issue. The Conservancy continues to work to acquire the land. Let’s wish them our best and positive dialogues with the landowner moving forward.
