As part of FHBP’s policy work, we are participating as a Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Community Partner to spread the word about how to engage with the Connect SoCal effort. SCAG is hosting a series of 26 community workshops throughout the SoCal region. We encourage our friends and allies to participate by attending one workshop to provide input on Connect SoCal, the Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP/SCS).
Every four years, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) updates its visionary plan for our region’s future called Connect SoCal. SCAG’s vision should demonstrate how communities evolve in a way that reflects the collective needs of our residents, and FHBP is ensuring that’s true by staying involved and on the forefront of this effort.
While we encourage participation in any SCAG workshop, the four hosted in Orange County are on April 20th and April 26th.
