FHBP Consultant Melanie Schlotterbeck has served as a juror on the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Sustainability Award panel for several years. This year the award ceremony was cancelled due to COVID-19 as it is normally held during a lunch ceremony at SCAG’s annual May event. Melanie was featured in the award to Caltrans for its simple modifications along Highway 118 to improve wildlife movement in the Las Posas Valley. Wildlife and drivers are now safer with this upgrade. Congrats to all the winners–a list is available on the SCAG website.
